Recently I had the opportunity to attend my very first Internet Marketing seminar.

Not only did I attend List Laser Live I was also asked to speak at the event.

Very Exciting!!!

How did this come about?

Well, Sterling Valentine (the owner of ListLaser.com) ran a 30-Day list building challenge where the winners would have the opportunity to fly to the event and be part of a panel discussion on how to be successful in list building an email list.

Not only did the winner have to put people on their email list they also had to provide a recap report of their strategies to build their list.  Then all submissions were judged by many successful marketers.

Some of the judges were John Guanzon from Thumbvu.com, Jared Silver from ViralBonuses.com, Liz Tomey, Jon Olson from Sweeva.com and many others (a little intimidating!).

But the best part was that all the comments from the judges were so encouraging and supportive!

Once I arrived in NYC for the event I had the privilege of meeting some great new friends and marketers.  I met Sterling himself, Darren Olander and Jered Silver.

The panel discussion was a lot of fun and was recorded so I will post some of the video here when I can get my hands on it!
